Another Before and After

First Try with Actions

One of my photographer friends told me about thecoffeeshopblog.com a few weeks ago. Tonight I finally (with lots of help from my husband) got around to actually figuring out how to save and use a Photoshop action. I got the Perfect Portrait 2 action, and that is what I used on all of these. I am posting the before and after pictures.

I know that these aren't perfect at all, but for it being my first time (and now 2 in the morning) I am pretty happy with this action. Any advice? How bad are they? Are there any major mistakes I am making?

Camping

A few days after I got my new camera, we went camping for a few days. It was a great excuse to just play with my camera a LOT! Here are some of my favorites from the trip.

Love in Hawaii

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Josh and I that I took in Hawaii. I am having a hard time with posing so any comments specifically about that would be helpful. I know photo four has a lot of sun glare in it, but for some reason it still makes me happy!

One More Reason

Here is just one more reason I don't want summer to end. We have grass in our yard! Which makes for some very fun picture opportunities.
